2nd Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tourney a Huge Success

The Waterville Valley Recreation Department held it’s 2nd Annual 3 - on - 3 Basketball Tourney on Thursday, December 30, 2010. We had 12 teams competing this year for first place title.

The winning team consisted of Benjamin Wadden, Dillon Keough & Nate Fuller (of Golden Eagle Lodge fame)! The tournament was set-up as a Double-Elimination; participants played for about 3 & a half hours, with the final teams actually playing 7, 15-minute games in total. 

This year’s tournament was a huge success, & twice the size of last year’s tourney.

The Waterville Valley Recreation Department is thrilled to have this opportunity to highlight the recent renovations to the Recreation Department gymnasium. This summer’s renovations included new roofing, replacement of warped flooring, total re-finishing of the floor boards (including the WV logo at center court) & new glass backboards & rims.
